Deborah McNutt, RPh, MBA
Elixir founder, President and CEO

Deborah McNutt founded Elixir, pc with a goal of providing unprecedented service to Michigan’s pharmacies, pharmacy professionals, and their patients. Her vision for Elixir was borne of a decade of experience as a registered pharmacist in virtually all practice settings … Experience in

• Retail Pharmacy—as a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager for one of Michigan’s largest retail chains
• Relief Pharmacy—in the employ of a local interim staffing company
• Manufacturing Pharmacy—as a staff pharmacist, project pharmacist, lead pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, and
• Clinical Pharmacy—from her internship in a 350-bed hospital to her present position as Director of Pharmacy at a private facility.

With her broad expertise, first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing both pharmacy professionals and management, and her solid record of advancement within each setting, and bolstered by the completion of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, she built Elixir from the ground up to be one of Michigan’s premier temporary staffing services for the pharmacy profession.

Committed to the pharmacy profession, Deborah serves on the Executive Board and several committees of the Michigan Pharmacists Association and is an accomplished presenter of continuing education topics. Committed to patient care, she volunteered assistance at a hospital in Jackson, MS in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and supports several charities.

Under Deborah's guidance, Elixir continues to serve pharmacy professionals, pharmacies, and their customers while adhering to her founding principles:

Dawn D. Wieck
Chief Operating Officer

With a career in customer service spanning more than a decade, Dawn Wieck was a natural fit as Director of Operations when she joined the Elixir team in 2004. She quickly proved her value to the firm, learning the intricacies of pharmacy staffing in record time and demonstrating her uncanny ability to develop professional relationships and liaise with clients and personnel.

As the Chief Operating Officer at Elixir, Dawn capably manages the day-to-day business operation. Customer satisfaction is her top priority. Hers is the smiling voice and quick mind that delivers unmatched service to Elixir’s clients, usually within 24 hours, and she excels in matching Elixir’s pharmacy professionals with appropriate assignments.

Jessica L. Mauney
Chief Administrative Officer

Jessica Mauney has been an integral member of the Elixir team since 2001, contributing her impressive foundation in management and human resources to Elixir's daily operations. First responsible for client and employee relations and scheduling, her role has shifted to primarily administrative duties, including payroll processing, managing Accounts Receivable, and various special projects.

She has always valued the relationships she built with Elixir's clients and pharmacy professionals.

Rebecca A. Carter
Chief Marketing Officer

Rebecca Carter has over a decade of valuable experience in marketing and business development that she brings to Elixir pc as the Chief Marketing Officer. She has secured numerous clients for both large and small corporations in the healthcare arena. In addition, her educational pursuits (EdD abd Adult Education/Corporate Training and Development, University of Cincinnati) have enabled her to provide key leadership for several teams directing overall business development stratagems and education/training endeavors.

Rebecca is an unstoppable force in the cultivation of fresh ideas and has been excited to bring that energy to Elixir pc. This energy is having a positive influence on the team members and clientele that we serve. With her keen ability to inspire passion within candidates and clients alike, as CMO, Rebecca is responsible for building strategic partnerships and recruiting top performers that will work to exceed the expectations of our clients.
